“Upper Choir” Microfibre Cloth

This microfibre cloth reproduces some upper choir details of the São Martinho de Tibães Monastery. Useful for cleaning glasses, cameras, mobile phones, CD/DVDs, screens and jewellery.

A favoured place for prayer, seven divine services were performed in the Upper Choir, beginning at 2 a.m. and lasting until 5 p.m.

The raised tabletops of the seats with their Misericord, with masks of men and animals, allowed the monks to rest discreetly during the moments of prayer when they were standing in a space where fantastic animals completed the symbolic discourse.

In the centre of the armchair sat the abbot, displaying the carved and painted arms of the Congregation, this being the seat which serves as the inspiration for this microfibre cloth.
